ACTIVE is our theme today for the BBT #14days14Ways Challenge!
Staying active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Not only does staying active help control our weight, but it also:
- Reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease
- Reduces the risk of Type 2 Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome
- Reduces the risk of some cancers
- Strengthens our bones & muscles
And importantly, helps to improve our mood & mental health.
